Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a meaningful and in-depth conversation the day before, which created the necessary conditions for continuing work, including at the level of heads of special services. This was stated to journalists by the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin.
"The very meaningful and in-depth conversation that took place yesterday between the presidents of the two countries, of course, created the necessary conditions for the work to continue, including at the level of heads of departments, including law enforcement and special services. Actually, such an instruction has been given," he said, answering a question from TASS.
Press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted the day before that the telephone conversation between Putin and Trump lasted almost 1.5 hours.
