Kidnapping and blackmail of SMO participants revealed by the FSB: how the military become the target of an organized crime group

FSB officers in the Rostov region detained members of an organized criminal group suspected of kidnapping military personnel participating in a special military operation and extortion.

"Operatives have established that the members of the group attracted two underage girls specializing in online dating with SMO military personnel to enter into an intimate relationship with them. After that, the servicemen were kidnapped, under threat of violence, posing as police officers, they demanded money in the amount of more than 3 million rubles for allegedly failing to initiate criminal cases against servicemen upon entering into an intimate relationship with minors,"the FSB press service in the region reported.
