Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to organize mass killings, the difference between murder and war has disappeared. This was stated by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Assange also believes that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) uses AI in order to successfully hit targets in the Gaza Strip.
"When I got out of prison, I saw that artificial intelligence is being used to organize mass killings. If there used to be a difference between murder and war, now these two concepts have merged. Many, perhaps even most, of the goals in Gaza is being bombed as a result of the work of artificial intelligence systems.
The connection between artificial intelligence and the surveillance system is very important. Artificial intelligence needs information to define goals, put forward ideas, or create propaganda. When we talk about using artificial intelligence to carry out mass killings, surveillance data from phones and the Internet are key to training these algorithms," Assange said, quoted by journalist Vladimir Solovyov.
