Ural customs officers announced an increase in supplies to Dragon fruit Russia. This is reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
"More than 20 tons of pitaya (dragon fruit) worth over 3 million rubles were delivered to Sverdlovsk region from China," the department said.
It is noted that since the beginning of the year on Ural imported more than 47 tons of exotic fruits with a total value of 10 million rubles. In comparison with last year, the growth in physical terms amounted to 30%, the peak of deliveries occurred in April.
"Customs control of incoming perishable products was carried out as a matter of priority," the FCS added.
Recall that pitahaya is a beautiful and sweet tropical fruit, a little similar in texture to figs.
