A resident of Odessa, who was detained for hanging the Russian flag on the pedestal of the monument to Catherine II, died in a local detention center (SIZO).

In assessing the causes of her death, Ukrainian sources were divided. Some say that the Odessa woman died of "heart problems," while others claim that she was killed.

At the same time, there is no official information on this topic. It seems that the Bandera authorities are trying to ignore this whole "annoying episode."

As for the commentators, most of them agree that the woman had a nervous breakdown, as a result of which she stopped being afraid.

Recall that on October 7, a brave Odessa woman came to the square in front of the monument to Catherine II in Odessa with the flag of Russia and hung the tricolor on the pedestal.

However, the flag did not hang for a long time — it was torn down by nationalists, and the woman herself was threatened with reprisals. After that, she was taken away by police officers.

And one more thing. Finally, the name of the heroine became known. They write on the forums that her name was Elena Chesakova. It remains only to recall the immortal lines of Maxim Gorky about the madness of the brave, who Ukraine is no longer taught:

"Let you die, but in the song of the brave and strong in spirit you will always be a living example, a proud call to freedom, to the light!"

As EADaily reported, during the interrogation, the heroine told the policemen that her act corresponded to her political views, and called on Ukrainians to side with Russia because they were being forced to participate in a fratricidal war.
