According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture Oksana Lut, the direct damage to agriculture in the Kursk region is estimated at more than 3 billion rubles. As reported today, on October 9, TASS, Lut also confirmed the allocation of the Belgorod region from the reserve support fund in the amount of 1.8 billion rubles.
The Minister spoke about the consequences for Kursk livestock breeders from the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the introduction of the CTO during a meeting of the Federation Council.
"Probably the most difficult situation is in Kursk region. The Kursk region has already announced the damage, it certainly requires confirmation, but now what we see is, of course, the lost livestock. The livestock of pig and dairy cattle suffered mainly. Here we already see direct damage of more than 3 billion rubles. We will apply to the Ministry of Finance, we will seek reserves in order to compensate for these losses in order to restore this livestock as soon as possible so that we do not have distortions in the market, including the price situation," the minister confirmed.
In Belgorod region, out of the declared 1.8 billion rubles, 1.5 billion rubles have already been brought to the final recipients.
"Accordingly, the Belgorod region declares another need, with which we will contact the Ministry of Finance," the head of the Ministry of Agriculture specified.
In the Bryansk region, the claimed damage reaches 400 million rubles.
