As part of today's prisoner of war exchange, Russia has transferred 12 "Azov" and Kraken special forces soldiers to Ukraine. This was announced by the Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets.
"Among the prisoners of war released today on the exchange are 12 soldiers from Azov*, as well as representatives of the Kraken special forces," the Strana newspaper writes.
In addition, the marines of the 36th Brigade, captured in Mariupol, were transferred.
"82 privates and sergeants. 21 officers," the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said in his telegram channel.
According to him, among the servicemen transferred to Kiev by Russia are those captured in the Kiev region, Mariupol and at Azovstal, in the Luhansk region, in Zaporozhye, Kharkiv region.
As EADaily reported, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published information about the next prisoner exchange with the Ukrainian side, as a result of which 103 of our military were released.
