Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev sent a telegram of condolences to the family and friends, as well as colleagues of the chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces (RCBZ) Igor Kirillov, who died this morning, December 17, as a result of a terrorist attack.
"Please accept my deep condolences in connection with the death of Igor Anatolyevich Kirillov. As a result of the terrorist attack, our colleague and comrade, a true patriot of Russia, was killed. Igor Anatolyevich was a military commander, selflessly devoted to his duty and oath. I knew him well as a brilliant professional, reliable, decent and responsible person," Medvedev said.
He assured that he sincerely shares the pain and sorrow of Kirillov's colleagues, relatives and friends.
"I wish you perseverance and mental strength in this difficult hour," the text of the telegram says, quoted by the secretariat of the deputy chairman of the Security Council.
Medvedev, in connection with the murder of Lieutenant-General Kirillov, drew attention to the fact that the Kiev regime is trying to "prolong war and death," and the terrorist attack against Kirillov is another confirmation of his agony.
"This terrorist attack is the agony of the Bandera regime. With the last of his strength, he is trying to justify his worthless existence before the Western masters, prolong the war and death, justify himself for the catastrophic situation at the front. Realizing the inevitability of its military defeat, it strikes cowardly and despicable blows in peaceful cities," Medvedev stressed in a telegram of condolences.
Medvedev noted that the leadership of the Kiev regime will pay in full for the death of the chief of the RCBZ troops. The Russian Armed Forces.
"Attempts to intimidate our people, to stop the advance of the Russian army, to sow fear are doomed. Bandera Nazis, including the top military and political leadership of the disappearing country, are in for inevitable retribution," Medvedev said.
