"We understand that this is a huge node, which opens up opportunities for them to further attack in several directions. It is possible that the Russians have in their plans an event in Dnipropetrovsk region — in order to put pressure on Ukraine or the seizure of the country as a whole," said Petrenko, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported, the Russian command plans to create bridgeheads near five regional centers of Ukraine in the fall and destroy them. This was stated by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.
