The Syrian opposition executed the cousin of former Syrian President Bashar Assad Suleiman. This was reported by the local newspaper Alkhali24.
"With the arrival of the vanguard of the Syrian rebels in Latakia, it was announced that Suleiman al-Assad, who led the National Defense Forces, was killed," the report said.
According to the newspaper, Suleiman Assad was hanged with a crane on a square in Latakia. The reason for the murder was blood ties with the former president, as well as "crimes against those who disagree with the regime."
At the same time, local telegram channels published a video of the moment of the public execution, but according to these frames it is impossible to confirm the identity of the man.
