People's Artist of the USSR Oleg Strizhenov died at the age of 96.
This was reported by Strizhenov's assistant.
"Yes, it is," she told RIA Novosti, answering a question about the death of the artist.
Oleg Strizhenov — People's Artist of the USSR (1988), winner of many theater awards, including the Golden Eagle Award (2009) for his contribution to cinematography, member of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Russia.
