Ritsa is closed to tourists in Abkhazia

Since December 17, one of the main attractions of the republic, the Ritsa National Park, where Lake Ritsa is located, has been closed to visitors in Abkhazia. The reason is the snowfall in the mountains and the threat of avalanches.

Work is underway to clear roads of snow, according to the administration of the Ricin Park.

It is expected that the precipitation will end in the middle of this week, and the weather will return to normal.
