To the Central and Eastern Europe was struck by the elements — four people died in Romania as a result of heavy rains and flooding. This is reported by the BBC.

It is noted that the floods have already begun in Poland. Prime Minister Donald Tusk visited Wroclaw the day before, which in case of flooding could become one of the most affected regions.

"There is no reason to panic," Tusk said, but urged local residents to prepare for a possible natural disaster.

Austrian meteorologists, in particular, call the upcoming downpours "incredibly strong, possibly unprecedented."

This was stated by a representative of the Main Police Department in Aalen (Baden-Württemberg), the Bild telegram channel wrote in Russian*. At least six more people were reported missing at that time.
