In less than a month, 34 foreigners applied to the Russian Embassy in London and the Consulate General in Edinburgh for advice on the possible relocation to our country of people who share traditional values.

This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the press service of the diplomatic mission. It is noted that the applicants were interested in moving to Russia because of the relevant decree of President Vladimir Putin.

"From August 19 of this year to the present, the Russian Embassy in the UK and the Russian Consulate General in Edinburgh have received a total of 34 applications from foreign citizens asking them to clarify the procedure for issuing temporary residence permits in our country," the embassy said.

They reported that among those who showed interest were mostly citizens of the United Kingdom, but there were also citizens of other states.

Recall that on August 19, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the support of foreigners who share the traditional values of Russia. These persons, the document says, will be able to obtain a temporary residence permit in Russia.

As EADaily reported, traditional families in the West heard Putin and reached out to Russia. This applies not only to the UK. Couples with children from the USA and Canada, writes the British Daily Mail.
