Anthony Blinken discussed with the Ukrainian side the issue of permission for Kiev to use Western long-range missiles at targets deep in Russia and will report on the results of negotiations to US President Joe Biden. The head of the US State Department said this during a visit to the capital of Ukraine, Strana reports.

"Blinken said that he had discussed permission to use long—range missiles with the Ukrainian leadership and would now report on the outcome of the negotiations to Biden," the newspaper writes.

In addition, according to Blinken, the United States will allocate more than $ 700 million to Ukraine for the restoration of the energy system, humanitarian support and mine clearance.

The United States will also send additional air defense systems to Kiev in the coming weeks.

As EADaily reported, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and British Foreign Minister David Lammy arrived in Kiev to meet with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

Blinken intends to hear directly from Zelensky and people from his entourage exactly what Kiev's goals are in the current war and what Washington can do to help him achieve them, Reuters reported.

The plans of both visitors include meetings with high-ranking Ukrainian officials.

Recall, London will provide Ukraine with additional assistance for 600 million pounds. This was stated in Kiev during a joint visit with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken by British Foreign Minister David Lammy, Reuters reported.
