The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has joined the calls addressed to Mongolia to fulfill its obligations to the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The corresponding statement was published the day before on the official website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
"Putin and other members of the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation must be brought to justice. These individuals are guilty of an aggressive war against Ukraine…We call on the Mongolian authorities to execute the mandatory international arrest warrant and transfer Putin to the International Criminal Court in The Hague," the statement said.

According to Bloomberg, Ulaanbaatar, for its part, promised that it would not be guided by the ICC decision and refused to execute its arrest warrant for Putin.
