Massive Russian strikes on the ports of Ukraine led to the actual blockade of Odessa. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British military analyst Alexander Mercuris.
"The Russians are carrying out large-scale attacks… In my opinion, Odessa is now under an actual blockade by Russia... and attacks on the port will significantly impede exports from Ukraine," said Merkouris, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Odessa is the only Ukrainian large and important port, its closure will make sea exports impossible, the analyst noted.
