German Ambassador Alexander Lambsdorf pointed out the unacceptability of Berlin's attempts to tell third countries, including China, how and in what format they should build relations with Russia. This was announced today, July 13, by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"They brought to the ambassador the unacceptability of Germany's attempts to tell third countries, including Chinese officials, how and in what format they should build relations with Russia," the ministry said in a statement on its website.

As EADaily reported, earlier the Chinese ambassador to Berlin was summoned to the German Foreign Ministry for a conversation, the reason was publications in the Western media about China's alleged participation in the training of the Russian military. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said that Germany should objectively and rationally assess China's position on the Ukrainian crisis.
