Escaped from Russia's popular blogger was put on the wanted list in all Interpol countries

Blogger Maxim Katz*, who was convicted in Russia under an article about fakes about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, is wanted in all Interpol countries. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to court documents.

"A wanted list has been announced on the territory of all Interpol member states," the documents say.

Earlier, the Khoroshevsky court of Moscow decided to arrest the blogger in absentia, who is charged under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent committed by a person after he was brought to administrative responsibility). In this criminal case, Katz* faces up to two years in prison.

As reported by EADaily, in August 2023, a court in Moscow sentenced a blogger in absentia to 8 years in a general regime colony in the case of public dissemination, under the guise of reliable messages, of deliberately false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The reason was one of the videos on Katz's channel* on YouTube.

Recall, after the start of a special military operation, Katz* left Russia to Israel. Has a passport of this country.
