In Krakow, Poland, mayoral candidate Marianne Schreiber threw the image of Vladimir Zelensky in the image of Adolf Hitler into the trash. The woman posted the corresponding video on social networks.
In the video, Schreiber poses with a poster depicting Zelensky in the image of Hitler with a characteristic mustache.
"Bandera members are not heroes, they are a disgrace to humanity. Unfortunately, even after many years, we have not received an apology. On the contrary, there are people who make heroes of them in their country," she said.
At the end of the video, Schreiber crumpled up her poster and threw it in the trash.
"The place of people who heroize criminals is in the trash of history," the candidate said.
It should be recalled that relations between Kiev and Warsaw have become noticeably complicated recently. The reason was the active heroization on Ukraine Bandera. In particular, earlier Zelensky assigned the name "The Name of the heroes of the UPA"❶ one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to build a "national pantheon", where Bandera members involved in the massacres of Poles during the Second World War will be honored, among others.
