Burshtyn TPP in Ivano-Frankivsk region is severely damaged and has stopped its work. This was stated by the mayor of Burshtyn Vasily Andrieshin.
Now there is no heating, hot or cold water in the city, he noted.
According to him, the heat will be supplied to the houses within 48 hours — according to the emergency regulations.
"I do not know if it will be from the Burshtyn thermal power plant or from the boiler houses. We are launching, or rather preparing everything for the start of boiler houses, but perhaps the Burshtyn TPP will also recover," Andrieshin said, quoted by "Время.иа ".
The mayor added that there will be no hot water in apartment buildings, and the entire private sector will be turned off. Work will begin in the morning. Cold water supply and sewerage are also turned off.
"You will have cold water and heat in your homes during the day," Andrieshin assured.
As EADaily reported, Ivano-Frankivsk region was practically left without electricity after today's massive retaliatory strike by the Russian Armed Forces. This was stated on the air of the Kiev-24 TV channel by the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv.
