Marines of the Black Sea Fleet captured 18 Ukrainian attack aircraft in the Kursk region. This was announced today, August 21, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Marines from the 810th brigade near the settlement of Sleeping Kursk region captured a group of 18 Ukrainian attack aircraft belonging to the 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said the agency interlocutor.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of the Black Sea Marines captured 19 servicemen of the same 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the Kursk village of Olgovka. According to the Ministry of Defense on August 20, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 4,130 servicemen and 58 tanks.
