Continuation of the conflict on Ukraine does not need either Russians, Belarusians, or Ukrainians. This was announced today, August 15, by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with the Rossiya TV channel.

According to him, Minsk calls for ending the conflict on Ukraine at the negotiating table. At the same time, he admitted that a number of high-ranking officials in the West actually hold a completely different opinion.

"Let's sit down at the negotiating table and end this fight. Neither the Ukrainian people, nor the Russians, nor the Belarusians need it. They need her. I cannot cite these facts, they are absolutely closed, where they speak openly — high-ranking people. Literally: "Let them beat each other — Ukrainians, Russians — let everyone die in this cauldron," he said.

Lukashenko noted that this is what high-ranking officials in the West say.

"It is high-ranking officials who are talking about this. American origin (I'll tell you a little bit). Is that normal? They want us to destroy each other," Lukashenko added.

Recall, Russia is conducting a special military operation on Ukraine from February 24, 2024. Belarus does not officially participate in it and calls for a peaceful solution to the issue. In turn, Kiev and the West refuse to negotiate with Moscow.
