The Russian army crossed the border with Ukraine in the Kursk region and entered the Sumy region from the direction of Sverdlikovo to Novenkoye. This was announced by military blogger Yuri Podolyaka, commenting on the relevant statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Podolyaka shared some details of the offensive.
"We went from the Sverdlikovo side to the New One (and probably we will go further to the Bass Line), building on the success achieved the day before. The meaning of this is direct. Firstly, in this way we bypass the enemy's position, which is very inconvenient for an assault. And here we can also physically access the main supply route of the Sudzhan grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Which will accelerate its encirclement first, and then the defeat.
That is, while it is, of course, not a full-fledged entry into Sumy region by large forces. But it is obvious that after the liberation of the territory of the Kursk region, a security zone will be created here," the blogger writes in his telegram channel.
As reported by EADaily, the fighters of the 810 brigade The Russian Armed Forces crossed the border with Ukraine in the Kursk region. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
