Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban decided to show his nose to the European Union and open the doors wide to Russians and Belarusians whose entry into the EU the community is trying to restrict, the Polish legal portal Forzal writes.
The Polish Russophobic resource is categorical:
"The new law will allow entry to anyone the Hungarians deem necessary, opening a new route for the transfer of hundreds of spies and saboteurs."
The new Hungarian law, which came into force in July, extends the validity of the so-called "National Card", i.e. the document on the basis of which work visas are issued. People who receive it have the opportunity to get to Hungary very easily and get a paid job there. Since July, citizens of Russia and Belarus have joined the group of beneficiaries looking for work in Hungary. The presence of a "National Card" gives its owner many advantages. He can take his family with him, and if he works in If Hungary is three years old, it will be able to apply for permanent residence without any problems.
According to some reports, Budapest intends to employ 65 thousand workers this year solely on the basis of the "National Card".
"Western commentators fear that by opening the borders to newcomers from Russia and Belarus, Orban opens the door to all those unwanted visitors whose influx into the EU he is trying to limit. Finland's decision to close the border with Russia, restrictions in the Baltic states, and Poland's abandonment of several border crossings with Belarus are aimed at tightening control over who enters the EU," the information resource notes.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Viktor Orban said the day before that despite the large territories, Russia is "manageable, logical, calm and predictable," while "the behavior of the West is irrational."
