A few days before the start of the Olympic Games in Paris, an Australian citizen was gang-raped.
French media reported that the victim of the crime was a 25-year-old girl who was found near the Moulin Rouge in a "torn, ill-fitting dress." The condition of the foreigner indicated that she was most likely under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Five young people fell under suspicion. Their nationality is not reported in a tolerant manner.
"Our hearts go out to the injured woman, and we hope that she will be cared for and supported in the face of her trauma," said the head of the Australian national team, Anna Meets.
According to local journalists, the 25-year-old girl attended the Fete de Musique music festival and bought a flight to Australia the day after the attack. It is unknown if she is still in Paris.
