The current head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will be the candidate from the ruling party for the, Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov said at a press conference on February 1.
He noted that young members of the NAP will contribute to the victory of Aliyev in the presidential elections.
It should be reminded that Ilham Aliyev has already won presidential elections three times - in 2003, 2008, and 2013. The presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held on October 17, 2018.
