The United States assessed the attack of Ukrainian UAVs on the Orenburg helium plant

Gazprom's enterprise in the Orenburg region for the production of helium for the Russian military and aerospace industries, apparently, was not badly affected after the attack of Ukrainian UAVs. This is reported today by Bloomberg with reference to satellite images.

"On August 11, Ukrainian drones attacked the Gazprom plant in Orenburg region… A Kiev official said at the time that the facility was targeted because of its role in the production of gas, a component of the Russian space and aviation industry, as well as in the production of rockets. The impact appears to have "little or no impact on helium production," said Phil Kornbluth, president of the American company Kornbluth Helium Consulting, "the publication says.

Kornblat's opinion is consistent with satellite images of the object taken before and after the attack, which do not indicate visible damage, the agency reports.

However, there is a possibility that the plant has suffered damage that is not visible on satellite images, Bloomberg adds.
