US President Donald Trump showed a joint photo with the Russian leader taken during the summit in Alaska. He showed it to reporters at today's briefing at the White House.
He admitted that Putin came out better in the picture.
"I think it's a good picture of him and a normal one of me, but his is a good one," Trump said, quoted by TASS.
In the picture, Putin and Trump are captured at Anchorage Airport.
"This is a man named Vladimir Putin, who I am sure will come [to the World Cup in 2026], it depends on what happens ... A lot of events are expected in the next couple of weeks, but I thought it was a good photo," the American president said.
