In Transcarpathia, they can't put out a fire in any way after a blow to the American Flex plant

The fire at the American Flex electronics plant in the city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia cannot be extinguished, it can burn until nightfall. This was reported in his telegram channel by Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Glagola, citing sources among the staff of the State Emergency Service.

As the sources explained, the problem is that the fire area is huge, and all the water from the nearest reservoir has already been pumped out.

"And this is at an enterprise that annually paid hundreds of millions of taxes. The symbol of the Transcarpathian economy is burning," Glagola states.

According to Verbs, one of the largest employers in the region is Flex's American factory Mukachevo was destroyed as a result of a morning missile strike by the Russian Armed Forces. According to the journalist, the strike was carried out at about 04.30, there were two missiles.

In just 7 months of this year, the plant paid UAH 285 million in taxes, last year — more than 340 million.

Let us remind you that last night the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike with high-precision weapons, as well as strike UAVs against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, energy facilities that provided their work, military airfield infrastructure, positions of operational-tactical missile systems, ammunition depots and property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The target of the strike has been achieved. All designated facilities are affected," the department said in a statement.
