New Delhi is dissatisfied with Kiev: You cannot ensure the safety of our ships

Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksandr Polishchuk was summoned to the Indian Foreign Ministry❶ after the attack on the MV AGN Ragnar ship with four Indian sailors in The port of Odessa. This incident was the third in which ships with an Indian crew suffered in the last week.

Since July 18, five Indian sailors have been killed in attacks in the Black Sea region, prompting New Delhi to step up diplomatic engagement for the safety of its citizens.

On July 26, the Indian Foreign Ministry issued a warning in which it urged the country's citizens to carefully assess security risks before agreeing to work on merchant ships in conflict zones.

As EADaily reported, on July 21, the Indian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack of Russian drones on a bulk carrier flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau, near the port of Odessa. The corresponding statement was made by the official representative Randhir Jaiswal in the social network X. Later, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained that all the vessels hit by the Air Force strikes were engaged in the transportation of military cargo for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
