The ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog partially suspended production after a missile strike. This is reported by PJSC ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog in its telegram channel.
"Our company was hit by a rocket last night... As a result of the attack, the main power and blast furnace production facilities were damaged, the plant's production processes were partially stopped," the report said.
It is noted that experts are now assessing the amount of damage caused, as well as the possibilities and conditions of compensation.
The company emphasizes that the plant, they say, is a purely peaceful enterprise.
Note, as reported today in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the purpose of the strike on the enterprise in In Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk region, there were workshops producing rolled steel for military equipment.
