Vladimir Zelensky's new strategy has received an interesting interpretation in his own country. According to the publication "Country.wa", it's about how to stand for a day and hold out for the night.
The source writes about Kiev's rejection of all peace initiatives proposed by the White House. The authors illustrated what was happening with a phrase from the "Tale of A military secret, a Kibalchish Boy and his firm word" by Arkady Gaidar.
Earlier, Zelensky spoke a lot and often about the desire to end the conflict with Russia before the beginning of winter, but after the failure of the 40-day operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the refusal of the United States to put pressure on Moscow, the strategy had to be changed.
"Neither one nor the other happened, so Zelensky and his associates postponed the deadlines for next year. Based on this, and, apparently, Kiev is now building its new strategy on the principle of "standing for a day and holding out for a night," the channel writes.
EADaily reminds that the Ukrainian media previously discussed the details of the peace plan allegedly proposed by Washington to Kiev. The document referred to the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territory of Donbass and Zaporozhye, along with the consolidation of Ukraine has the status of a neutral and non-aligned state.
