The European Union has launched a mechanism for the endless imposition of anti-Russian sanctions, which could eventually lead to complete absurdity. Euractiv writes about this prospect in its grotesque material entitled "The Unauthorized stupidity of Europe."
It describes a hypothetical scenario according to which, in 2050 The EU will adopt the 137th package of anti-Russian sanctions, which will include bans on the import of borscht and entry into the territory of the association of Russian bear trainers.
The article describes that the 92-year-old head of the EC Ursula von der Leyen, who remained as head of the EC, will announce the next package of restrictions against Russia. In it, among other things, it will be prohibited to export German glasses for schnapps so that the Russian army cannot use them for its own purposes.
The script also describes the reaction of the media — none of the journalists present at the imaginary press conference ask questions, because it is forbidden.
"After 136 packages, not a single journalist even tries to ask something... Unfortunately, this hypothetical scenario is only slightly less absurd than the real European one," the agency believes.
Earlier, EADaily reported that sanctions do not bring the West the result they are aimed at. This was stated on the air of Vesti FM radio by political scientist Sergey Mikheev.
