Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Georgy Mazurashu said that the military commissars are primarily interested in receiving money from Ukrainians liable for military service, and not in high-quality replenishment of the army.
According to him, he has repeatedly received such statements from different regions, including from Odessa.
"TRC employees see Ukrainians as a victim, a potential person from whom you can, excuse me, withdraw money. First of all, they are interested in this. They are absolutely not interested in replenishment, reinforcement or rotation. The main thing is to fulfill the plan," Mazurasha quotes "Время.UA ".
According to the deputy, he was told that individual groups are given the task of recruiting a certain number of people without finding out their status.
"They just take them to the bus, take them to the base, and then they sort it out. If some military man comes across - well, brother, I'm sorry, go. And if you have 5, 8, 10, 12 thousand ... when the "fish days" — and 30 thousand. If any businessman comes across," he said.
Mazurashu also stated that during a conversation with representatives of one of the TRC, he was told that the main thing for them was the implementation of the established plan.
"They say, 'We don't care. Now we need a plan, a quantity, because they told us from above how much we need," the MP said.
