Who left from Russian actress of Lithuanian origin Ingeborg Dapkunaite told why she did not star in Sergei Mikhalkov's film "Tired of the Sun 2". This was discussed in an interview with journalist and blogger Katerina Gordeeva❶.
"I had to sign up for the fact that at any moment — in a year — I will be able to act in a film. To agree that I will be filming in a year. I couldn't sign up for it. That's why I didn't sign up," she explained.
Gordeeva ❶ noted that you need to be very confident in yourself to refuse to shoot at Mikhalkov.
"It wasn't an easy decision then. Absolutely not," concluded Dapkunaite.
Recall, Dapkunaite played the wife of the commander Kotov Marusya in the film "Tired of the Sun" (1994), which was awarded the Oscar as the best foreign language film, and also received the Grand Prix of the 47th Cannes Film Festival.
In both parts of the film "Tired of the Sun 2" ("Anticipation" and "Citadel") Marusya was played by Victoria Tolstoganova.
