It's time for Europe to stop overreacting to flying drones into The Baltic States and Romania. This was stated in an interview with Bloomberg by the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.
This is how he answered a question about a wave of drone incursions into allied airspace, in particular a strike on a residential building in Romania.
"A strong and mature alliance should be able to cope with escalation as well. I mean, we need to manage this process. We should not be so amenable to excessive emotional reactions. First of all, we should try to establish a dialogue, if possible. Just to clarify the situation, to make sure what is happening at the moment is a mistake, not an act of aggression. That's all, actually," Dragone said.
As reported by EADaily, it is better for EU countries to keep silent about the drone attack on a residential building in Romania, since they are all direct participants in the war with Russia. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
