"The biggest stupidity that Europeans and people from Brussels is to completely abandon any dialogue with Russia," the Kremlin spokesman said.

"But it is impossible to solve problems and discuss them without dialogue. This is the main root cause of the impasse in relations that we have reached," Peskov said.

At the same time, he stressed that in Europe "no one has offered anything yet" in terms of specific surnames. He also did not answer the question of how Russia would react if such a proposal was put forward.
