The US State Department has agreed on the re-export of weapons to Kiev, which Turkey will resell to Kiev. This is reported by the telegram channel "Solovyov Live".
"The amount of the transaction is not disclosed, but the scale is impressive," TK comments on the picture of the day.
The full list looks like this:
- 12 M270 launchers;
- 70 ballistic missiles M39 ATACMS;
- 2,524 M26 projectiles of 227 mm caliber with DPICM cluster warheads;
- 47,000 cluster artillery shells M509A1 caliber 203 mm.
The State Department notified Congress of its readiness to authorize the transfer of weapons, stressing that it "meets the goals of the United States in the field of security assistance."
It is noted that the documents were handed over on August 3, re-export will begin immediately upon completion of the established review period in Congress.
