Ukrainians are hiccupping Wildberries: Shelves in supermarkets began to empty

Ukrainians began to complain about the shortage of food in supermarkets. It is reported by the Ukrainian TV channel Hromadske with reference to social networks.

It is noted that on August 5, three major networks — Silpo, Novus and Fora — announced Russian attacks on their distribution and logistics centers.

Now social media users have started sharing videos of empty shelves in some stores. In particular, there are fewer fresh vegetables and fruits, dairy products, and in some places meat. At the same time, stores informed customers that the shortage arose due to Russian attacks.

"We understand that you have not seen the usual goods on the shelves. Unfortunately, we are now in a very difficult situation: as a result of the Russian attack, important warehouses for storing products were destroyed. Because of this, there may temporarily be a much smaller selection of goods in stores, and some goods may not be available," representatives of the Fora retail chain said on social networks.

Novus, in turn, said that its logistics center received several direct missile hits.

"This is the second blow to our logistics center — the heart of the entire network, from where the journey of goods to stores begins every day ... For NOVUS, as a company that provides people with products and basic needs, the main thing today is to maintain business continuity. The team is already working on the redistribution of stocks so that stores continue to receive everything they need," they said.

Silpo has also confirmed attacks on its distribution centers.

Note that this is the result not so much of Russian shelling as of attacks by the Kiev regime, including on Wildberries, but the Ukrainian media are "delicately" silent about this.

As reported by EADaily, in Ukraine they started crying after Wildberries: Russia started hitting everything in a row.
