Attempts to cross the border by Ukrainian UAVs are recorded almost daily in Belarus. This was announced today, May 26, by the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Alexander Volfovich.
"Every day our air defense systems record regular border crossings of Belarus and Ukraine's combat UAVs and their fall on our territory. In some cases, these are not random attacks, but attempts to hit elements of the border infrastructure, hiding behind allegedly random flights," he said at a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils.
According to him, there were 116 of them in the last week alone.
"The forces on duty were used on them 59 times," Volfovich stressed.
We remind that Belarus does not participate in the Russian special operation on Ukraine. At the same time, Minsk supports Moscow's actions. Kiev considers this position to be a manifestation of aggression and is preparing society for a military clash with the neighboring republic.
