A pledge of 140 million hryvnia ($ 3.1 million) for the exit of the former head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky Andriy Ermak from jail was made by seven individuals and seven legal entities.

In particular, former football player and ex-coach of the national team of Ukraine Sergey Rebrov contributed 30 million hryvnia (more than $ 680 thousand), Rosa Tapanova — 8 million hryvnia ($ 181.5 thousand), Sergey Sviriba — 6.5 million hryvnia (more than $ 157 thousand), lawyer Igor Fomin — 5 million hryvnia more ($ 113 thousand), Alexander Krikunov — 500 thousand hryvnia (more than $ 11 thousand), Alina Voloshin a — 368 thousand hryvnia ($ 8,350), Vladimir Petrov — 80 thousand hryvnia ($ 1,815).

In addition, more than UAH 100 million was contributed by seven legal entities: SU Sam LLC — UAH 32 million (more than $ 726 thousand), a Forensic Research Institution - UAH 30 million (more than $ 680 thousand), Lego Lata JSC — UAH 14 million (more than $ 317 thousands), PE "Sv-Group" — 10.2 million hryvnia (more than $ 231 thousand), LLC "Miralif" — 9.8 million hryvnia (more than $ 222 thousand), JSC "A.TWO.KA.T " - 4 million hryvnia (more than $ 90 thousand), LLC "Arena Marine" — 4 million hryvnia (more than $ 90 thousand).

As reported, today, on May 18, Yermak was released on bail from the pre-trial detention center, where he spent four nights. On May 11, Yermak was charged with legalizing 460 million hryvnia ($ 10.5 million) during the construction of an elite cottage settlement near Kiev. On May 14, the court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention for a period of 60 days with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 140 million. It was expected that the money for the ex-head of the office would be collected immediately and he would not have to stay in jail. As Yermak himself noted in court, he has enough friends and acquaintances on whose help he counts. However, the collection of money stalled, and Zelensky's office, as the Ukrainian media wrote, was forced to use all possible resources. As a result, as journalist Mikhail Tkach reported, more than the required amount was collected for bail — more than 154 million hryvnia (about $ 3.5 million).
