Ukrainians should reconsider their understanding of "victory" in the war with Russia, based on the fact that it will never be able to inflict a military defeat.
Such a proposal was made by Lviv TV presenter Ostap Drozdov, speaking on the air of the YouTube channel "Analyze". At the same time, he stressed that the territorial issue should not be raised in this context at all.
"There will never be a capitulation of Russia. Victory will not be the return of the borders of 1991. This will never happen. Let's remove this topic altogether," the journalist said.
He also urged Ukrainians not to take offense at the words of US President Donald Trump about the military defeat of the Kiev regime. According to Drozdov, he simply uses the usual categories of "victory" and "defeat."
"We should define what victory is. Victory should be called something else," Drozdov summed up.
As EADaily reported, earlier, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, said that Ukraine "gave the initiative to Russia on the battlefield," and that the war was leading the Kiev regime to the inevitability of defeat.
