The preliminary results of the parliamentary elections are painful for the Fidesz party. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, speaking to supporters at the headquarters of his party.
"The election results are clear, although not final. These results are painful for us," Orban said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
After counting 60% of the votes, Tisa retains a constitutional majority of 2/3 of the votes. She has 136 mandates. Fidesz gets only 56 seats out of 199 in the Hungarian parliament.
As reported by EADaily, Viktor Orban congratulated Peter Magyar on his election victory in Hungary. The oppositionist stated this in the social network X. According to Magyar, he accepted congratulations by phone.
