More and more tankers are passing through the Strait of Hormuz in Iranian waters. Previously in Tehran stated that the ban applies only to vessels associated with the United States and Israel.

According to AIS vessels, three tankers crossed the Strait of Hormuz at once this morning. Bright Gold oil product indicates that it is coming from Sharjah and is heading to China. The vessel can carry up to 45 thousand tons of fuel.

Together with Bright Gold are the tankers Lenore and Jag Vasant. The first carries up to 300 thousand tons of oil, and the second up to 54 thousand tons of liquefied gas to India.

In addition, now, obviously, another Indian tanker, Pine Gas, is passing through the Strait of Hormuz. It can also carry liquefied gas — up to 58 thousand tons.

Judging by the routes, the tankers go through the Iranian territorial waters of the Strait of Hormuz. And this is not the first case of the passage of tankers in recent weeks.

As EADaily reported, the vessels went through the Strait of Hormuz. However, each flight passes through the territorial waters of Iran, is coordinated with Tehran and paid.

"Iran has created a de facto 'safe' shipping corridor through its territorial waters in In the Strait of Hormuz, offering passage to verified vessels in exchange for payment. At least in one case, a payment of $ 2 million was reported," the specialized edition of Lloyd's List reported.

Dimitris Maniatis, CEO of Marisks, said that currently each passage of ships is considered individually and some governments are contacting the Iranian authorities to obtain permission for safe passage.

For example, the authorities of India are acting, which is on the verge of a shortage of liquefied natural gas, widely used in the country.
