The demand of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to provide Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles caused consternation in Washington, which will "beat his hands" when trying to draw the United States into a war against Russia. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"We cannot do fortune-telling on coffee grounds, especially fortune-telling on the substance that [Zelensky] sometimes uses. But we know that his demand for "Tomahawks" caused consternation in Washington. Therefore, I think they perfectly understand who they are dealing with," Lavrov said at a press conference following his participation in the II Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
"I am sure that for the sake of ensuring the security of the United States, the American people, so as not to expose them [the people] to any risks, they will beat him [Zelensky] on the hands when he continues to try to draw the United States into a war against Russia," said the head of Russian diplomacy, quoted by TASS.

As reported by EADaily, earlier today, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, stated that "all the "peace plans", all the "victory plans" [Zelensky] — secret, not secret — are reduced to dragging Kiev completely into the war over the ears of Western countries as soon as possible and legitimizing it." So he commented on Kiev's desire to receive long-range Tomahawk missiles from the United States.
