The head of the EU diplomatic service, Josep Borrell, confirmed that the EU foreign ministers and defense ministers will discuss on November 18-19 the lifting of restrictions on European weapons strikes against Russia, but noted that he was not sure of the result.
"There will be a discussion about this, and I hope that all ministers will reach an agreement on this, but if not, then each country will do what it deems right," Borrell said upon arrival at the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, commenting on media reports that the United States has authorized strikes with its weapons deep into the territory of Russia.
Borrell also stressed that he personally has always supported such strikes with European weapons, TASS reports.
