Palmachim and Uvda are the key air bases of the Israeli Air Force. Palmachim (located with Kibbutz Palmachim, near Rishon Lezion and Yavne) specializes in helicopters, UAVs and missile launches, and ATC (ATS, near Eilat, previously used for civilian flights) — on pilot training and exercises. Both bases are important defense facilities.
