The rejection of Russian energy was a strategic mistake of Europe. This was stated in the social network X by the head of the RDIF Kirill Dmitriev.
This is how he commented on the Financial Times article about Europe's failure to decarbonize its energy system.
"Even the Financial Times now repeats the Kremlin's theses: "Europe's impotence extends to energy." However, it's not just about impotence — it's a strategic mistake, which consists in abandoning Russian energy, which not only increases the cost of energy carriers, but also makes Europe extremely vulnerable to energy shocks," Dmitriev writes, quoted by RIA Novosti.
