American military bases in the Persian Gulf countries are not a defense, but a threat. This was stated on the social network by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
He noted that the United States protects only one country in the region.
"The Arab countries of the Persian Gulf allowed the deployment of American bases on their territory, naively believing that they would protect them. As if not so! The US is just using them, while protecting only one country. Think carefully about whether you really need American bases — this is not protection, but a threat," Medvedev writes.
As EADaily reported, the Third World War could begin at any moment if US President Donald Trump continues his course. This statement was made by Deputy Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, answering questions from TASS.
